Rennou™ Technology
Rennou™ is Theodent's proprietary theobromine-based enamel-care technology. At its core is theobromine, a naturally occurring compound found in cacao. Rennou™ combines theobromine with calcium and phosphate and forms the technological foundation of the Theodent toothpaste range.
In an in vitro enamel remineralization study, theobromine produced comparable enamel remineralization to fluoride at a 71× lower molar concentration.
This does not mean 71× better, stronger or more remineralization.
