WITHDRAWAL FROM PURCHASE

1. YOUR RIGHT TO WITHDRAW
If you are a consumer and purchase goods through shoptheodent.eu under a distance contract, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days, subject to the exceptions provided by applicable law.
For goods, the withdrawal period generally expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods.
Nothing on this page limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
2. HOW TO WITHDRAW FROM YOUR PURCHASE
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.

A clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract
You do not have to give a reason for your decision.

4. RETURNING THE GOODS
After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Please contact us before sending the goods so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
The customer generally bears the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires us to bear that cost.
5. CONDITION OF RETURNED GOODS
You may inspect the goods only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.
Where reasonably possible, please return the goods securely packaged together with any original packaging and documentation.
6. HEALTH AND HYGIENE EXCEPTION
The right of withdrawal does not apply in certain situations provided by law.
In particular, the right of withdrawal may not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene where the seal has been opened after delivery and the legal requirements for this exception are met.
This exception is assessed according to the specific product, packaging and circumstances.
We do not automatically treat every opened toothpaste or oral-care product as excluded from the right of withdrawal.
If you are unsure whether a product can be returned, please contact us before returning it.
7. REFUNDS
Where a valid right of withdrawal has been exercised, we will reimburse the payments that must be refunded under applicable law.
This generally includes the purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method, the additional cost is not required to be refunded where permitted by law.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and within the statutory deadline.
Where permitted by law, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is expressly agreed.
8. DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR NON-CONFORMING GOODS
The 14-day right of withdrawal is separate from your statutory rights concerning damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods.

9. ONLINE WITHDRAWAL FUNCTION
Where applicable law requires an online withdrawal function for contracts concluded through an online interface, shoptheodent.eu will provide an appropriate electronic means for exercising the right of withdrawal.
The availability and operation of this function are subject to the technical functionality made available through the store platform and applicable legal requirements.
Consumers may continue to exercise their right of withdrawal through other legally permitted means, including a clear statement sent to us by email.
